May 28, 2020 Release Notes

Default Page Components

Previously when a new demand plan or event plan page was created, the page would not be pre-populated with any page components. With this release, upon creating a new page, the following components will be pre-populated:

Demand Plan

  • Statistics Grid
  • Chart
  • Units Grid
  • ASP Grid
  • Revenue Grid

Event Plan

  • Chart
  • Units Grid
  • ASP Grid
  • Revenue Grid

New Decimal Precision Option in Advanced Planning

A new option has been added to allow users to view plan values with up to 3 decimal places. The setting is enabled in System Settings under the Advanced Planning settings.

In the example below, the "Units values scale" decimal precision is set to 2.

New Days on Hand Safety Stock Option

The basis to calculate the days on hand safety stock is a forward looking rolling calculation. This means during periods of 0 demand, safety stock will be calculated earlier than planned demand.

This new setting forces the safety stock calculation to be aligned with demand. This way a planned order will not be created only for safety stock ahead of the demand requirement.
